About a month ago I had the awesome opportunity and
willingness from a fellow lipstick lover, April to shoot photos of her for one
of my class projects. She has such effortless style and a cool girl spirit.
Writing about her for my project was probably one of the easiest things I’ve
yet to create and even think of. People like her continue to inspire the things
I do. I’m not a photographer, nor do I claim to be. But I had a blast taking
her pictures—she’s a natural!

A little preview of my magazine spread. I called it Vertigo Magazine. It was one of the decisions I made at 2 am the day before this was due (I put the PRO in procrastination). I'm so proud of what I whipped up in 4 hours. Pressure does amazing things to my creative senses...but I probably shouldn't wait that long to finish an assignment again, my sanity is at stake there.
My design class is coming to a close end. There's about five weeks left in the semester, it's both a feeling of sadness and a sense of pride. I loved my professor and the opportunities she's pushed me to pursue. All I can think about is summer and the fun things to come! It's about time to leave my books behind in exchange for the sun and lazy days by the pool.
